While it seems Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were quite to try and quash any rumors about trouble brewing in their marriage earlier this year, problems certainly do exist. While Jen wants her husband to continue to work and strive to have the best of both worlds – a great career and happy family – that doesn’t mean that she fully trusts him. In fact, according to the May 20th print edition of STAR it’s quite the opposite.
She knows that Ben cheated on Jennifer Lopez with a stripper and she also realizes that he is a man of vices. If he is partying and gambling he’s also more likely to be unfaithful. The Star source claims that Jen checks her husband’s phone all the time because she doesn’t think he is completely innocent while on his own.
Adding to Jen’s fear is the fact that she’ll be spending two weeks of May shooting scenes for a new film in Cleveland and Ben will be left to his own devices in L.A. She’s pulling the kids from school so that they can travel with her and supposedly Jen is really worried about how Ben will choose to spend all of that alone time that he’s going to have on his hands.
Jen has cut back her work schedule in recent years to accommodate their growing family. She has made family time a priority while Ben has actually worked more as his career has totally skyrocketed.
