As beloved and respected as Kate Middleton may be by some, there is still an overly critical group of detractors that take issue with every single step that the Duchess of Cambridge makes. When she showed up looking super toned a few months after giving birth to Prince George there was speculation about her eating habits. If she hits a red carpet looking a little too perfect then people speculate about nannies raising her son and then a few weeks ago Kate’s grey roots caused a collective gasp. She is supposed to look like perfection and the most critical royal watchers were almost insulted when she missed the mark by about an inch.
According to the Dec. 9th print edition of GLOBE Magazine Prince Charles has had it with watching his wife constantly being ripped apart and bullied. He thought that the reaction to her grey roots was absolutely ridiculous. Kate’s hair being treated like a “palace crisis” sent the usually mild mannered William into a protective rage. Kate always plays things off like they don’t bother her but he knows better than anyone else the toll that the chronic criticism really takes. Plus she is bouncing back from a tough bout with postpartum depression and William fears that these stinging comments will prevent her from getting back to normal.
