Kate Middleton Queen and Prince William King as Queen Elizabeth Retires: Prince Charles Outraged?

After 63 years, Queen Elizabeth appears to finally be ready to retire from the Throne and make Prince William and Kate Middleton the new King and Queen. According to a new report, she plans on bypassing Prince Charles and crowning Prince William and Kate Middleton the next King and Queen of England. This week’s cover of OK! Magazine features a photo of the royal couple Will and Kate and the headline screams, “King & Queen!” The tabloid’s cover goes on to tease that Prince Charles is “furious” – and all of the inside details on the upcoming $1 Billion coronation.

Queen Elizabeth is a pretty powerful woman, but believe it or not she does not have the power to handpick the next Kind and Queen of England, but she does have the power to persuade Prince Charles to turn down the crown so that it will go to the next heir – Prince William. According to this week’s edition of OK! Magazine, that is exactly what the Queen did. Although Prince Charles obviously had to agree to the shocking change of course in the royal family, that does not mean he is happy about it.

An inside source dished to OK! Magazine, “It has been a tough pill to swallow for Charles. He has spent his whole life waiting to succeed his mother. He initially flew in to a rage, ranting that the throne is his. But, then he began to see her way of thinking.” Of course, Prince Charles’s wife Camilla Parker-Bowles is way more upset about him passing the Throne and letting Prince William take over – seriously she has been sitting on her laurels for years counting down the days until she became the Queen of England. That’s the reason she married Prince Charles in the first place.

The big coronation will reportedly take place in April 2016 after Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday celebration. OK! Magazine teases that the Royals will be pulling out all the stops for the big day, and the ceremony could wind up costing nearly $1 Billion. Sources are indicating that the coronation will be held at Westminister Abbey, the same London church will Prince William and Kate Middleton got married in 2011 – of course Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be a part of the ceremony, and the guest list will be insane.

Do you believe that Prince Charles really agreed to step aside and let Prince William and Kate Middleton have the throne? Who do you think would be a better king, Charles or Will?
