Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that another bundle of joy could be on the way. Before we reveal the potential details, let’s set the stage. Jade (Paige Searcy) has been visiting her ill grandmother for a while, but she returned in time for the Halloween festivities. Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade were pleasant to each other, but their interaction was brief.
The spark has finally fizzled for these two. They were all over each other for months, but all good things must come to an end. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Joey will feel like he needs to officially wrap up this romance. He’s probably not entirely sure where they stand at this point.
Regardless, it appears Joey will make the decision to move on. Days spoilers state that Joey will tell Steve (Stephen Nichols) about his choice. Steve may give his son the old “love is complicated” speech and suggest that he’s doing the right thing. If he’s just not feeling this relationship, Joey has no reason to stay.
Unfortunately, it looks like Jade may soon give Joey some unwelcome motivation. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Jade will drop a major bomb on Joey. We don’t know for sure what Jade’s news will be, but it certainly sounds like she’s pregnant.
Jade’s announcement could make Joey decide to stand by her for the baby’s sake. She definitely isn’t ready for motherhood. Jade can barely take care of herself! Joey obviously isn’t primed to win any father of the year awards either. He inherited all of Steve’s bravery, but none of Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) intelligence. Courage and stupidity can be a dangerous combination.
Nevertheless, the deed is done and Jade could be pregnant with Joey’s kid. If so, what’s next? There’s been some Days speculation about a possible baby switch since Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) is also expecting a child. However, there are some problems with that idea.
Jade didn’t appear to be showing in her slinky little getup at the Halloween fundraiser. That might mean she’s not very far along. Chloe, on the other hand, should have quite a baby bump when she pops up again. The timing might be too far off for a switcheroo. It’s tough to say.
Plus, Chloe could be carrying Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Daniel’s (Shawn Christian) baby. That surrogacy situation might be complicated enough! They may not want to make this DOOL storyline more convoluted than it already is.
Of course, Rafe (Galen Gering) recently mentioned that he always wanted to be a dad. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) admitted that she didn’t see herself becoming a new mom again, but Rafe might have a chance to adopt. Could he end up taking in Jade and Joey’s kid? It’s something to think about.
We also can’t count out the possibility that Jade is faking it to keep Joey in her life. Is Jade really pregnant? Will Joey support Jade or urge her to give up this potential baby?
