New General Hospital (GH) spoilers for episodes the week of Monday, September 12 through Friday, September 16 reveal that Julian’s murder trial starts and Paul works to sabotage the case, Andre joins the search for the GH killer, Alexis falls apart, and Hayden and Liz face off.
As the week kicks off, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) agrees to donate the blood Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) needs but only if she gets her diamonds back. Liz is confused that Hayden saved her with the donation but still thinks Hayden is the one who shoved her down the stairs.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) pledges to help Hayden all he can and in coming days, the charges against her will be dropped thanks to him and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Liz has a request for Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) that could put her pal in harm’s way.
Franco (Roger Howarth) is still torn about the sister secret and turns to Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) for advice. By the end of the week, the sister secret spills out. Hayden has a big talk with Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) this week as she faces her new reality.
Kiki talks to Franco about Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) spiraling out and she wonders if she needs to back off with Morgan. To make things worse, Darby Collette (Jesica Ahlberg) is back in Port Charles and could make trouble for Kiki and Morgan.
Claudette Bolland (Bree Williamson) drops a truth bomb this week and we’re wondering if she’s got a kid we don’t know about. Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) trial kicks off and Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) has to throw it off track but can’t look obvious about doing it.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) heats up her blackmail to make sure her brother walks. Fortunately for Paul, Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) is falling apart so prodding her to freak out on the stand will be easy. Alexis is the key to the case so messing with her seems the best approach.
Towards the ends of the week, Julian perks up and sees that he has hope to avoid life in prison. He was certain of his doom, but Paul’s sabotage of the case has him increasingly excited that he could walk away from this all – assuming Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) doesn’t take him out…
The PCPD brings in Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) to help with the GH killer case and by the end of the week, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) finds another piece of evidence. Paul keeps close tabs on the investigation as DA, but it’s really to make sure they don’t know it’s him.
Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is Paul’s next intended victim, but someone else gets in the way and he has to kill them instead. Will it be Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) or another random GH staffer we don’t really know? Paul’s killings should pick up in pace soon.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) get into a major confrontation over Sabrina. Carly thinks he’s moving too fast and Michael is offended. Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) steps up to support Carly after the fight and offers advice.
Nelle will continue to worm her way deeper into Carly’s life. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) turns to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindström) about her embryo investigation and asks his advice about whether she should pursue it. Dante seems less than enthusiastic.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) gets devastating news. Looks like GH is facing closure over the serial killer deaths. Unless the PCPD can crack the case and shut it down, the hospital will shutter because they can’t keep putting lives at risk.
