Hugh Laurie Returns To Television In 3 Wicked New Roles: Check Out Spring 2016's Hot TV Lineup!

Spring is in the air, and that means a slew of new TV shows will be hitting the airwaves, along with some highly anticipated season premieres of some of our favorite old TV shows. Who better to dish all of the details on this season’s must-see television other than the TV Guide March 23 to April 3, 2016 Spring Preview Issue?

Of course, the man of the hour – Hugh Laurie – is covering the latest edition of TV Guide, and it seems fitting seeing as how he is making a huge splash on television in 2016. You most likely recognize Hugh form his leading role on the still popular medical drama “House.” The show has been off the air for quite awhile, but Hugh is diving back into his work this year with not one but THREE new TV shows.

The Former “House” star sat down with TV Guide to discuss his roles on “The Night Manager,” “Veep,” and “Chance.” “The Night Manager” is set to premiere on AMC on April 19 – and Hugh will be playing the part of Richard Roper, an arms dealer running short on morals. He’ll also be appearing in “Veep,” the show that left fans reeling after a crazy cliffhanger. Also, “Chance” will be premiering on Hulu later this year, and Hugh will be playing a doctor on the new drama.

Hugh was an open book during his must-read interview in TV Guide’s “Spring Preview” edition – and he had some interesting things to say about his stint as “House.” Laurie confessed, “I’m sure I was an absolutely horrible person to work with. Grumpy. Obsessive. But I’m older and wiser now.”

The all new edition of TV Guide Magazine also features inside looks and spoilers you can’t get anywhere else on some of Spring’s most anticipated new series: “The Ranch” (Netlifx), “The Detour” (TBS), “Containment” (The CW), and the show we are most looking forward to, “The Catch” on ABC. “The Catch” is another one of Shonda Rhimes’ creations – and will be added to ABC’s TGIT line-up. According to TV Guide Magazine, “The Catch” is “a seductive cat-and-mouse drama between a private eye and her ex-fiance-turned con man.”

If you are a TV junkie and want inside information on this Spring’s new TV shows, season premieres, and the official schedule, then you have to pick up the all new edition of TV Guide Magazine as soon as it hits newsstands!
