The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the battle for Douglas is about to heat up. It’s clear that Thomas (Pierson Fode) would like to raise his son. Once Thomas makes his next move, he could be one step closer to true parenthood.
B&B spoilers say Thomas will declare his love for Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) soon. That could put this storyline on an interesting path. Caroline will reject Thomas, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be open to the idea of reuniting in the future. After Thomas throws the option out there, Caroline could feel drawn to him.
She may feel connected to Thomas, especially since he’s the “baby daddy.”
Unless…what if Thomas isn’t Douglas’ father? Ridge supposedly had a vasectomy and Dr. Wolin (Mark Damon Espinoza) advised against a reversal due to low motility. However, that doesn’t mean we should count out the possibility that Douglas is actually Ridge’s son.
In the world of daytime dramas, miracle babies happen often. It’s a classic soap scenario we all know and love. The Bold and the Beautiful could easily claim that there was a mistake with Ridge’s procedure. Perhaps the vasectomy didn’t take. If Ridge didn’t go in for follow-up appointments, he may never have gotten updates on the procedure’s ineffectiveness.
Dr. Wolin felt like it was impossible for Ridge to impregnate Caroline, but he may have been wrong. Besides, he was a shady guy anyway. B&B viewers probably shouldn’t put much stock in Dr. Wolin’s medical opinion.
If you can’t get beyond the vasectomy and Dr. Wolin hurdles, then just look at it from a different angle. How many times have we seen soap rewrites? They do what they need to do to make it work. It’s not crazy to think that The Bold and the Beautiful would pull a fast one and allow Ridge to have a child.
Things are never as they appear. There still hasn’t been a paternity test, which means there’s no real proof. Until someone presents some hard evidence, we can’t know anything for sure. It’s surprising that Ridge hasn’t at least checked into this. Maybe that means it’s still to come.
Let’s say Caroline eventually leaves Ridge or he walks out on her because she’s growing closer to Thomas. They could end up in court to settle the custody war. A paternity test would undoubtedly be ordered for confirmation. Caroline, Thomas and even Ridge could all be in for a big surprise.
That news might complicate Caroline’s love life. She may have truly fallen for Thomas by that point. Ridge and Caroline would really kick themselves for creating a secret when there wasn’t one. Poor Thomas wouldn’t know what hit him. It would be quite a blow.
