The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday’s new episode on October 18 tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will try to figure out what’s on Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) flash drive. He’ll lock her out of the office as he works to solve the mystery. The power will go out, but it won’t stop Billy’s mission.
While Phyllis gets a security guard to help, Billy will manage to guess the password on her laptop. Phyllis will get back inside her office in the nick of time. She’ll jump across the desk and unplug the flash drive. Once Billy leaves in defeat, Phyllis will search through some of Newman’s financial files.
At the penthouse, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will realize that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) took off while they were upstairs. As the storm booms outside, Chelsea will be on edge. She’ll recall the horrible explosion that left Adam (Justin Hartley) dead.
Chloe will change the subject to Bella’s (Cali May Kinder) birth. Chelsea will appreciate the distraction as well as Chloe’s friendship. She’ll feel like they can truly be honest with each other. Chloe will look rattled and they’ll call it a night.
As Chloe sleeps, she’ll be tormented by dreams of Adam Newman. She’ll remember shooting Adam with a tranquilizer dart and announcing that she wanted to watch him die. Suddenly, Chloe will wake up to see Chelsea standing there. Chelsea will note that Chloe was having a nightmare about Adam.
Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) will insist that someone is lurking outside. Paul (Doug Davidson) will stop by and offer to help check things out. When a call comes in from Patty’s (Stacy Haiduk) facility, Paul will learn that his sister is missing. He’ll head right over.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will freak over Patty’s escape. She’ll inform Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Patty was obsessed with her at Fairview. She’ll suggest that Patty is delusional and dangerous. Nick won’t understand what the big deal is, but he’ll go outside to look around.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will contend that Sharon needs to come clean or Patty will blow this. If not now, it’s still going to happen eventually. Mariah will also call Kevin to fill him in on the evening’s events. He’ll arrive on the property and accidentally knock Nick out cold.
At the facility, Paul will scold the staff for letting Patty give them the slip. He’ll mention the possibility that Patty caused the power outage as part of her escape strategy. Paul will look through Patty’s paintings to see if she left any hints. When he spots one of a pregnant Sharon, he’ll decide to check the visitor logs.
Someone will finally notify Paul that it was a false alarm. Patty just went on a kitchen excursion in an effort to track down some pudding. Once Paul is reunited with his sister, they’ll have a little chat. Paul will ask if Patty made any other stops besides the kitchen. Patty will just say that she wants to get out of there. She’ll beg for Paul’s help.
Fortunately, Paul’s trip offered some useful news. The visitor logs apparently clued him in on Mariah’s visit. In Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Paul will ask Mariah why she went to see Patty. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on Mariah’s tricky situation.
