When the Beckhams were first househunting in LA, actress Jennifer Lopez couldn’t have been more helpful.The 38-year-old was even in talks with Posh to model some of her new denim line. But the rapport has turned decidedly frosty and they are no longer talking.
The relationship soured when Jennifer, right, did not attend a welcoming party for the Beckhams hosted by Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. The actress claimed she was busy filming but Victoria felt it was a snub and was so upset she avoided Jennifer’s Just Sweet fashion show in New York last week.
“She made her excuses that she had to be in LA which clearly wasn’t the case because she was photographed in New York,” says my source. “It’s a case of wounded egos.” Sounds like two of a kind. Source
