Retrial for John Travolta Extortion Case

In the extorion case agains Ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne who is accused of threatening to release private information about the January death of JohnTravolta’s 16-year-old son Jett. Lightbourne, who was among the medics who treated Jett, allegedly sought $25 million from the actor there will be a retrial.  

A judge in the Bahamas case ordered a retrial in the John Travolta extortion case because of possible juror misconduct.  Justice Anita Allen released the jury and declared a mistrial after learning that a member of Parliament announced at a political convention that defendant Pleasant Bridgewater had been acquitted by the jury.  No new date has been set for the trial.  Photo: Flynet Pictures
