Last week, Warner Bros. released a picture of Anne Hathaway dressed in her badass boring Catwoman suit. The picture sparked thousands upon thousands of tweets, debates, and blogposts — most of which expressed what the entire world (I’m sure) was feeling: how in the world is that Catwoman. No cat ears. No whip. Not a whole bunch of sexiness (we still <3 you, Anne). So what’s up with the super-duper boring black jumper?
Well, Hathaway said there’s more to the suit than meets the eye. There better be, girl! Because if you guys aren’t giving us cat ears, then we better see some super awesome catlike skillz or something. . .
Stars of the upcoming Batman movie are usually extremely hush, hush about the project (as they’ll probably lose their lives if they breath more than a few words), but Anne manged to slip a short little statement to MTV:
“I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions [to the photo] . . . What I am happy to say is, if you didn’t like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do,” she promised. “And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste.”
All right, we’re holding you to it, AnHath. For the record, apparently I have horrible taste in catsuits, because I don’t like it one bit. What about you all? Do you guys have “good taste?”
