Astro took the stage tonight and rapped his rendition of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” from the critically acclaimed movie “8 Mile”. I usually don’t watch X Factor but it peaked my curiosity since it was movie night. Right when I heard Astro was going to rap something from “8 Mile”, I knew it was going to be “Lose Yourself” and I didn’t expect much because Eminem is a phenomenal rapper and re-writing his music is very difficult that only very few could do justice to.
Surprisingly, Astro did the unexpected. His lyrics had a meaningful concept that followed well with the original hook written by Eminem and it was simply amazing.
Astro is the type of kid that has the talent to actually become very famous within the music industry and deserve it, unlike the many rappers that you hear on the radio that have absolutely no talent and put Hip Hop to shame.
