Britney Spear’s New Album, ‘Femme Fatale’ Set To Flop

Britney Spear's New Album, 'Femme Fatale' Set To Flop

With only a week to go until ‘Femme Fatale’ is released, things aren’t looking so good for Britney Spears’ 7th studio album.   Whether its lack of promotion or just lack of interest from the general public, Femme Fatale can expect to shift low numbers.  Despite being available to pre-order for the past 2 weeks on the iTunes album charts, Femme Fatale is sitting outside of the top 10.  Whereas a week before ‘Circus’ release in the US, the album was #1 on the iTunes charts.  Even Bionic was in the top 3 one week before its release date.

Femme Fatale isn’t doing too well either on the largest online retailer in the world, Amazon.com.   The album sits at #16 on the Amazon Best Sellers in Music charts at the moment.   Even Chris Browns new album F.A.M.E is higher than Femme Fatale.   Femme Fatale might not even debut at #1, since Radioheads new album is also released on the same day and its sitting a lot higher than Femme Fatale on the best sellers chart.

However, things are looking brighter for Femme Fatale in Australia at least.   Music experts expect the album to debut at #1 in Australia.

This is all a consequence of Britney Spear’s apparent lack of interest in her own career.  Who can blame her – she is like a prisoner now.  She is still under conservatorship and is obviously not pleased since she appealed unsuccessfully to the judge to regain her rights as an adult.
