Check Out Florence And The Machine's New Track!

Florence + The Machine definitely know how to create some spine-chillingly amazing songs; if you don’t believe me, check out their popular 2009 album Lungs. I didn’t want to have to resort to this, but if you’re not exactly familiar with Florence or her band, you might be familiar with the cover Glee performed of their song Dog Days are Over (which, in a recent interview, Florence said was “amazing”).

At a recent concert in Berkely, California, the band performed the song What the Water Gave Me, which may or may not make it onto their forthcoming album, which is scheduled to be recorded probably around April or May.

They have power-house producer, Paul Epworth (known for working with Adele), backing them up and he says “He can’t wait for everyone to hear the album.”

In the meantime, as we all wait many months to hear the final products of the album, we’re stuck with this borderline crappy quality YouTube video of What the Water Gave Me. If you ignore the person coughing and the tornado-like white noise in the background, you might be able to hear Florence’s spectacular voice. Enjoy and let us know what you think!
