Dina Lohan is trying to raise more than $5 million to fund her movie about young drug addicts in the hope of signing Selena Gomez. The hopeful producer has allocated $1.1 million for actors fees in the budget.
Lindsay’s mother also wants Amanda Seyfried and Dakota Fanning for the film entitles ‘Growing Defiant.’ Dina formed a company called Defiant Pictures with the goal of producing the drama described as “the story of three life long friends from upper middle class Long Island, who delve into the underworlds of heroin.”
Dina’s wish list for her cast includes Gomez, Fanning, Seyfried, as well as Hayden Panettiere, Emma Stone, James Gandolfini and Susan Sarandon. But so far the only person she has got signed up is her son, Michael Lohan, Jr. However, Lohan admits she’s only got one confirmed name for her movie – her son, Michael Lohan, Jr.
I doubt that investors are lining up to own a piece of this project.
