Riverside District Attorney David Greenberg Suspects That Dawn Holland Paid To Drop Case Against Lindsay Lohan

The District Attorney handling the investigation into whether to prosecute Lindsay Lohan is convinced that the key potential witness, Ex-Betty Ford employee, Dawn Holland was bribed not pursue her case against Lindsay Lohan.

We have learned that Richard Greenberg has kept case against Lindsay open, and a source familiar with the situation says that a suspected payoff to Dawn is one reason.

The source said “Greenberg believes that Dawn’s change of heart was financially motivated. Greenberg believes Lindsay’s camp paid Dawn off, plain and simple.”

Of course you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to reach this obvious conclusion – since Bad Dad Michael Lohan announced for all the world last week that he was in charge of these negotiations to bribe Dawn!  Its no surprise that in Michael’s culpable hands the negotiations failed and now Lindsay might be in legal danger – bribing witnesses against you is illegal, very illegal!

Holland said that Lindsay attacked her at the Betty Ford Center when the actress returned late one night. She then sold her story and a confidential email divulging a patient’s name to TMZ and was  fired. A lawyer from Betty Ford Center notified authorities of the possible HIPAA breach.

Attorney Keith Davidson was hired by Holland, who after filing a police complaint, suddenly refused to cooperate.  Multiple sources made it clear that Dawn tried to negotiate a bribe from Lindsay’s camp to buy her continued silence.

Now, it’s clear that her behavior has drawn the interest of prosecutors as well, who question her motives in suddenly deciding not to cooperate with the Lindsay investigation. She is not obligated by law to cooperate, but the new disclosures of possible payments could bring up other legal issues to expand the probe.

After the deal negotiated by Michael Loahn fell through, Dawn fired her attorney and is now represented by Owen Latham McIntosh who Dawn hopes is more skilled at blackmail than Davidson.  McIntosh said that Dawn did not agree to a financial deal nor sign anything.

The claim from Lindsay’s camp is that she never agreed to any type of payment. “She was completely unaware of what her father was doing on her behalf,” the source said. “Lindsay has never in writing or verbally agreed to any sort of financial settlement with Dawn Holland. Lindsay has moved on from the situation and is focusing on her sobriety. It’s beginning to look like the actions of others could potentially harm Lindsay legally.”

Its look more like Lindsay’s original actions set her up to be blackmailed by a greedy unscrupulous Dawn Holland – and that is what we are witnessing now.
