Fear Factor Season 7 Premiere Live Recap 12/12/11

Can you believe that Fear Factor has been off television for five years?  Joe Rogan is back as the host for the seventh season and tonight is the season premiere on NBC.  So if you have missed seeing contestants eat foods that you would never imagine consuming NBC is the place to be tonight.  Stay tuned as our sister site Fit Fab Celeb covers the show with up-to-the-minute details of the show.

If you have not seen the show, on Fear Factor teams are pitted against each other for a prize of $50,000.  Each show includes three stunts, the first physical, the second a gross-out competition, and the last one for all the money.   The show pushes people to their limits both physically and what they will eat.  Believe me they have eaten some pretty gross things.

When Joe Rogan was asked why he came back as the host after so many years he said, money and emotions. “The money helps pay the bills, and the feelings came from the notion of watching someone else take over a job he had been so identified with.”

The new show is being marketed as “more explosive than ever and more disguting.”  If you can stomach watching someone decided what they would rather bull’s balls or cow’s blood? Jumping off a building or jumping off a truck?  Fear Factor is the place to be!

Our sister site Fit Fab Celeb will be live blogging the show tonight with all the up-to-the-minute results as they unfold.   Fear Factor Season 7, Episode 1 Recap here!  Make sure to refresh often!!

    I
love that the stunts are bigger, but not so glad that there is just as much
blood as before. I guess that is expected from FF. Other than that, I still
enjoyed watching it. . I wasn’t able to catch the premier on Monday because I
was on a trip to California.
As soon as I got back, I pulled up DISH Online, and watched them both and they
were pretty good to me in my opinion! I do work for DISH, and I have had a lot
of time to use DISH Online. There are many shows available even if you don’t
subscribe, Fear Factor being one of them. I definitely respect your thoughts in
that Fear Factor wasn’t the best show to you. I thought it was great, but I
hope less blood is used in future shows!
