Frank Sorrentino Defends Rant Against The Situation

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s father Frank isn’t going to win Father Of The Year anytime soon, that’s for sure. As we’ve pointed out on our sister site, Swanky Celebs, Frank makes Michael Lohan look like the best father in the history of parenthood.

In his expletive-filled rant, he really went after his son, and we’ve since learned that it all boiled down to getting rejected after asking Mike to help pay some of his medical bills.

Now, Frank is defending his rant! Earlier today, the elder Sorrentino went on went on KiSS 92.5 Toronto’s Roz & Mocha Show to clarify his comments. When asked why he ranted about his famous son in a string of Youtube videos, he said, “There’s no one real reason why, it’s just had it not been Michael, it’s just any other father’s story with his son, it’s a life story of a man with a boy.”

Despite all of that, Frank said that he is “not trying to bring down” his son. He said, “I’m not trying to bring him down or anything like that, he’s put me through so much for so long, a time.”

When asked where all the anger in the videos came from, he said, “Which anger in which videos?”

He went on to reveal that he stood up for Mike in some tenuous situations and that he hasn’t even seen his son since November.

When asked about one of the video’s ending, where he says “F**k the little f**k”, he said, “It was in the moment, it’s a lot of pent up disappointment, I don’t regret doing the video.”

And if that wasn’t enough, he added that he has nothing to be sorry about because he “didn’t lie on the video.”

Wow, with family like that, you really don’t need enemies!
