American Idol castoff Haley Reinhart talked about being on the receiving end of criticism from the judges during her time on the show.
While I’d admit, she was absolutely not my favorite of the top three or four, the judges did seem to really lay it on her. In their defense, they really should have and they should have critiqued everyone in the same fashion. When you whittle it down to only three or four choices to win a million dollar record contract, you have to push them hard. The judges came down on Haley, but apparently it didn’t faze her at all.
She said, “I believe their intentions were simply to push me along further.” She also revealed that she’s looking forward to performing on stage at the American Idols Live! Summer Tour. She said, “I’m going to enjoy just letting loose, knowing that I’m not going to get judged one more time. I’m just going to love that crowd and look out into each and every seat and show them how much I appreciate them.”
Good for her. I hope she really does hone her vocal talent and release a good rock album. She has quite the fan base, that’s for sure.
