Is The X Factor USA's Rachel Crow The Next Disney Super Star?

Disney is desperate to sign ‘The X Factor ‘s’ Rachel Crow to a long-term lucrative contract since she has won our hearts and our minds with her amazing performances and shocking life story.

Rachel Crow was born to a crack addict and was herself a crack baby – not an easy way to enter this world. It’s not hard to be moved by Rachel’s story and millions of viewers of The X Factor have been affected. This of course has not gone unnoticed by Disney executives… . Always on the lookout for new talent that can appeal to the masses, they figure that they have a sure bet with Rachel.

The birth mother of the 13-year-old sensation used cocaine while she was pregnant, and Rachel lived in a crack house when she was very young. Rachel “suffered a lot of abuse” before social services placed her in foster care, her adoptive mom, Barbara Crow, reportedly told the New York Post. Rachel came to live with Barbara, a former hospital counselor, and her husband, Kelly, who owns an excavation business in Boulder, as a foster child at six months old and the couple adopted her a year later. Barbara says Rachel’s rough start hasn’t gotten in the way of her becoming a well adjusted child.

Disney execs anticipate that Rachel can follow the likes of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera and make them another fortune.

A source on the show told Radar: “Disney have been contacting Rachel’s reps a lot, and they have big ideas or her. She’s auditioned for them a few times before The X Factor and now that they see her in ‘Factor’ and how talented she is, they want a piece of that.”
