My Name Is Earl star Jaime Pressly was busted last night on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was reportedly driving in Santa Monica last night when she got pulled over by cops for committing a traffic violation. We are unsure what violation they are referring to, so she’ll probably argue that there was none and get off — it’s Hollywood!
Police had Jaime perform a field sobriety test and she failed. Thus, she was arrested for the DUI and held in jail on a $15,000 bond. According to reports, there were no drugs in her car. Also of note, there were no children in the car, either.
And, we know, there was no car accident. The only other circumstance in which bail is set at $15,000 — the normal amount is $5,000 — is when the driver’s blood-alcohol level is higher than .15. We have not, however, been able to confirm Jaime’s level.
I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before this goes away. There are holes in the case already, don’t you think?
