There seems to be a lot of celeb babies making their way into Hollywood this month. Well, there’s another one! Jewel and her husband Ty Murray gave birth to a bouncing lil’ baby boy, who weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz.
The two chose a relatively normal name, Kase Townes, for their new addition to the family. Thank goodness they didn’t take the Beckham route and give it a middle name (or last name, IDK, I assume Beckham will be its last though?) of “Seven.” Why, Beckhams, WHY? I thought you were a borderline normal bunch?
Jewel has reportedly been open about her struggles to conceive. On the first day of shooting her new show, Platinum Hit, another singing competition, she found out that she was pregnant. She was ecstatic, and said it was hard to keep it a secret.
“Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world,” said Jewel. “We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!”
