Justin Beiber Plans To Cash In With His Own Store Fail

Justin Beiber was set to follow in the profitable footsteps of the Kardashian sisters – 16-year-old singing sensation was in negotiations with the same company who helped Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian set up their Las Vegas boutique, Khaos, but his representative confirms plans have fallen through.

According to earsucker.com, Justin’s publicist said:

‘I was working with them last year with the possibility of this happening. Toward the end of November, everything had fallen through. It’s not happening.’

Justin’s goal was to develop a retail outlet at The Grove in Los Angeles.  The store in the upmarket outdoor shopping center planned to see Justin lend his image to products ranging from shoes and skateboards to lollipops.

A source had said ‘They want to have everything Justin Bieber. They are also trying to find other Island Def Jam artists to be the face of some candy as well.’  Well the source might have been correct but things change fast in the big city.

Last month Justin announced the launch of his collection of trading cards with Panini America.

Justin’s merchandise list includes three CDs, a fragrance, a line of nail polish, T-shirts, mugs, aluminium water bottles, lunch boxes, headphones, dolls, Christmas tree ornaments, a Halloween wig and boxer shorts.

Its good to see that Justin has absolutely no qualms about promoting and having his name attached to products he knows nothing about – like nail polish – at least we hope he knows nothing about them.
