Justin Timberlake Creates Talent Competition On Myspace

We recently reported that Justin Timberlake is taking a financial stake in Myspace and has high hopes to revive the social website. The Bad Teacher star is currently “dizzy with ideas” and fleshing out a plan with his manager, Johnny Wright, on ways to make Myspace popular again.

Whether it becomes a talent competition or something like that, those are things that we will still flesh out. We definitely want to bring the industry back to MySpace to really look at the talented people that have put their faces there,” said Wright.

A talent competition sounds exciting – and I’m sure it will get music lovers excited about the site, especially with Timberlake behind the scenes.

There’s a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect,” Timberlake said last week. “MySpace has the potential to be that place.”

The plans for the newly revamped website will be announced August 17 at a press conference. Are you looking forward to the new and improved Myspace?
