Did Kate Middleton Have A Miscarriage Due To Anorexia?

The National Enquirer reports today that Kate Middleton has had a miscarriage and that it was triggered by her dramatic weight loss.   Kate seemed as happy as could be during her post-wedding tour of Canada and California supposedly because doctors had confirmed she was in the early stages of pregnancy.

A source says Kate was thrilled when she discovered she’d become pregnant in May during their dream-like two-week honeymoon.  Just before Kate and William landed in Ottawa on their tour June 30 doctors confirmed she was expecting.

“You could see the joy on their faces,” says a royal source. “They looked so happy and so in love. By the time they reached California, Kate was excited beyond belief at the prospect of becoming a mother for the first time.”

But soon after the royal tour, Kate was rushed to a private clinic feeling sick and complaining of headaches. The news was bad – Kate suffered a miscarriage.

Prince William was called to her bedside from his air base in Wales, 150 miles away, where he’s an R.A.F. search and rescue helicopter pilot.

“He was flown south then driven to London’s famed Harley Street where doctors were nursing Kate through her ordeal,” says an insider.

At 5-foot-10 Kate only weighs 98 pounds which is at least 30 pounds less than a normal weight for that height.

“Now friends believe her weight loss almost certainly triggered the miscarriage.”

Rumors that Kate has an eating disorder have not been confirmed.
