Kim Kardashian has no children of her own and is out there expressing her fears that she will never have any now that her marriage to Kris Humphries is over. Kim had no children with Damon Thomas, her first husband, nor with any of the men she has been with since. Now at 31 years-old Kim must be feeling the pull of her biological clock and she is fretting that she will be forever childless.
Kim, who shocked everyone when she announced she was separating from Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage in October, always dreamed of having a large family but is now worried she won’t ever become a mother and may have to settle on being a “good aunt” to 23-month-old nephew Mason, her sister Kourtney’s son.
Kim said: “I always wanted what my parents had. And at first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three, and now I’m like, maybe I won’t have any. Maybe I’ll just be a good aunt.”
“At this moment in my life, I feel like maybe I’m not supposed to have kids and all that. That’s how I feel. Maybe my fairytale has a different ending than I dreamed it would, but that’s OK.”
Whether or not Kim really wants kids, she really does want sympathy, empathy and pity – whatever it takes to get her Kardashian brand past the backlash and boycott following her unpopular decision to dump Kris.
In an interview with America’s Glamour magazine, she said: “I’ll always be a hopeless romantic. It means that I believe and love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed.”
“I think I need to not live in a fairytale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic. What I want isn’t possible.”
Its amazing how Kim pretends that life just ‘happens’ to her independently of the choices she makes. She did not meet Kris at her wedding – Kim’s was not an arranged marriage where she only learned that she was incompatible with her husband after the knot was tied. Kim needs to take responsibility for her life.
