Since Forbes reports that Rebecca Black and Ark Music Factory stand to make more than $1 million from the iTunes downloads of “Friday,” and another $20,000 or so from its YouTube version, people are convinced that she is not simply the worst singer ever.
Rebecca appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night to perform her hit song “Friday.” She also spoke about the negative attention her song is getting. “I think they can either be really hilarious and make me laugh like ’til I cry, but others are really lame” Rebecca told Jay Leno of the people making fun of her. Rebecca told Jay that she’s donating the money she’s making from all the attention her song has received to Japan and her school.
