In what was called the “smoking gun” in the Lindsay Lohan jewelry heist, the video was said to be the determining factor in whether or not Lindsay actually made off with the $2,500 necklace!
The video does not have any sound, but would prove whether or not Lindsay filled out any paperwork for the necklace that went missing when she was at the shop. The shop owner says that they just don’t lend out jewelry and that there has to be something on file before they put jewelry on loan to celebrities.
Lindsay is too good for filling out paperwork, though. She’s telling friends, “I don’t deal with things like that.” She’s also calling the whole thing a misunderstanding. But — the problem is that when she got wind that the shop owner went to the cops, who were seeking a search warrant for the necklace, she had her minion return it!
If she gets arrested or has to go to court for the theft of the necklace, she could be facing up to three years in the pokey. Tough sentence for a misunderstanding, isn’t it???
