Paris Hilton Leaves The Philippines But Filipinos Can't Forget Her

Paris Hilton’s trip to the Philippines was a business success but she also personally touched many Filipinos.  Entering the real-estate business with a partnership in the Azure Beach Club in Manilla and opening her fourth Paris Hilton Handbags and Accessories store – this one at the SM Megamall – Paris still found time to share with the population.

The reaction of Andy Flores, a local fan, pretty well sums up Paris’ experience: “I feel proud to be Filipino since she loves Filipinos so much.”

Paris made another fan, Jen Syquia, really happy: “Yesterday, I bought a bag and then they gave a meet-and-greet pass for Paris Hilton. I asked her kanina to hug me and then I cried. Then she signed this to me and this one too, I’m so happy and so excited!”

“She looks gorgeous and I love her so much and she’s very down to earth,” said Chelsea Tena.

Paris also took time to meet up with her friend, the boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.

“She has a great friendship with Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao and they had dinner the other night. And every night she’s with Filipinos and she said that she never felt this much warm welcome, and that’s distinctly Filipino,” said celebrity host Tim Yap.

Paris said: “The Filipino people are so genuine and real. And it’s just been an incredible experience and thank you all again, and I can’t wait to come back. I love you.”

Filipino fans adore Paris Hilton and her return to the Philippines is much anticipated.
