Ted Williams, 53, the Columbus man who was living on the streets until a newspaper reporter helped turn him into a overnight celebrity has fled rehab. After a long talk with TV Dr. Phil, Williams admitted to drinking alcohol heavily again and agreed to go to a male-only drug rehab facility in Texas arranged by Dr. Phil
Today after less than two weeks in rehab for drug and alcohol dependency Williams checked himself out of ragainst doctor’s advice.
TMZ has more: — left the Origins Recovery Center in South Texas moments ago and is on his way to the airport. Ted’s girlfriend is currently in rehab at the Safe Harbor facility in Costa Mesa, California.
Too bad he had a great chance to get his life back under control. I guess he thinks he can do better on his own.
