If you’ve been feeling as if there isn’t enough of Alexander Skarsgard in your life, then you’re in luck!
HBO has just made the announcement that they’ve renewed True Blood for their fifth season! Woot!
I can’t seem to get enough of this show. If it’s not the vampires, it’s the witches. And if it’s not the witches, then it’s the wolves and the panthers. If it’s not any of the supernatural creatures, then perhaps you’re just watching it for the hot sex featured. And the vampires, of course.
HBO’s president of programming, Michael Lombardo, just confirmed the news, saying, “I am thrilled that True Blood continues to enjoy a phenomenal reception from both subscribers and critics. Alan Ball and his gifted team have devised the greatest thrill ride on TV.”
Alan added, “I remain amazed and delighted by the enthusiasm of our viewers. I can’t imagine having more fun than this.”
Last week and the week before, viewers were treated to the joining of Sookie and Eric as a couple (in more ways than one!) So I’m hopeful for the rest of the season and the next! Are you?
What’s your favorite part of the show? Who’s your favorite character? Mine is obviously Mr. Northman, Sheriff of Area Five, of course. I’m also digging his amnesia storyline, but I have to wonder what his relationship with Sookie will be like once he gains his memory back. What do you think?
