Kristen Stewart is prepared to play a feisty transgendered inmate in her mother’s new movie K-11. Jules Mann-Stewart is directing this gender bender enterprise and Kristen plays Birdy, a male to female transsexual with autism – not everybody’s idea of the dream role. The project has been banged about since 2008, but has been delayed over and over due to funding, casting, and Kristen’s hectic filming schedule.
The movie tells the story of one of how one of Hollywood’s music magnates ends up in the K-11 unit of LA’s male prison. K-11, we’re told, is a unit that locks up gay or transgendered inmates who would be attacked or even raped in the straight lock-up.
Kristen Stewart as Birdy befriends the new music magnate arrival and takes him under her wing. Jules Mann Stewart, known as Mamma Stew, was script supervisor on such non-classics as: The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas and Santa and Pete.
This sounds like Kristen is being used for her fame and popularity in the Twilight series to buoy up what is for sure going to be a loser film. What do you think? Let us know!
