Let’s blame the NBA strike – lockout for Vanessa Bryant’s filing for divorce from her cheating bum of a husband, Kobe Bryant. It looks like Kobe really didn’t know what to do with all the free time on his hands so he got to cheating on his wife… again. Kobe has a long history of infidelity – including being arrested for the rape of Katelyn Faber – who he both paid off massivly and apologized to in order to get to drop the charges against him.
Throughout it all his wife stood by him – even tolerating several other incidences of Kobe’s runaway sex drive colliding with other women. But finally Vanessa has decided to leave the cheater and cash out.
TMZ has the exclusive: Vanessa Bryant filed legal docs Friday afternoon, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ … Vanessa — who stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 — decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful … again.
As one source puts it, “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough,” adding, “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
And our sources say … Kobe “desperately” wants to win Vanessa back and will do “whatever it takes” to save their 10 1/2 year marriage.
Could this divorce affect Kobe the same way Tiger Woods’ split from Elin Nordegren affected him? Can this cheating superstar stand the heat any better than Tiger did? Probably – after all Kobe has already been through a rape case and weathered that storm.
