Who Was Eliminated on The X Factor USA Top 9, Live Recap 11/23/11

On tonight’s The X Factor USA two of the nine remaining contestants will be sent home.  Stay tuned as we cover their official recap of show with up-to-the-minute details.   Last  night was a Thanksgiving-themed episode and was all about the finalists giving thanks to someone that has touched their lives.  The finalists gave thanks to their mothers, families, friends and fans.  If you missed last night’s episode and what to find out what they were thankful for and see their performance videos, go here!

How the double elimination will work tonight is the lowest vote total will automatically be booted. It will then be up to the next two lowest to battle it out for the right to continue.   We conducted a poll this morning and were surprised with 1/2 the results.  36.25 % of people who voted thought Astro should go home tonight.  Although Astro apologized before his performance last night for his behavior on the last show, it looks like it may still be hurting him.  In second place in our poll is Lakoda Rayne and this is not unexpected.   It is going to be a tough decision this week, the judges loved everyone.  We thought Astro and Chris Rene were the best.

Below is a list of the remaining nine contestants and the songs they sang last night:

Rachel Crow – I Believe by Yolanda Adams
Marcus Canty – A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men
Melanie Amaro – World’s Greatest by R. Kelly
Chris Rene – Let It Be by The Beatles
Lakoda Rayne – You Belong To Me by Taylor Swift
LeRoy Bell – In The Arms Of An Angel by Sarah McLachlan
Astro – Show Me What You Got by Jay-Z
Drew Ryniewicz – Skyscraper by Demi Lovato
Josh Krajcik – Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones

On tonight’s night’s show former American Idol’s Kelly Clarkson will perform “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)” from her new album while Bruno Mars will sing his new single “Let It Rain.”

Our Sister site Fit Fab Celeb will be live blogging the show tonight at 8PM – so make sure to come back to this site for all the up-to-the-minute results!
