Adam Levine has called Jennifer Love Hewitt an ‘aggressive flirt on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Adam was happy and proud as he crowed on Ellen that his not so secret admirer was ‘aggressive’ saying: “I heard about that. That was aggressive. It was really sweet and flattering. Beautiful life, you know, when a beautiful woman says nice things about you.” Adam admits it is always nice to hear that somebody finds you attractive, even if they are open about it on national TV.
Jennifer – who split with ‘Eagle Eye’ actor Jarod Einsohn last month – recently confessed to having her eye on Adam, who also happens to be back on the market having just parted ways with model Anne Vyalitsyna. In fact Jennifer said on Ellen recently: “I always have my eyes out. I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again … I’m just saying. Look, we would be cute.”
Poor Adam is still nursing a broken heart following his split from Anne – whom he dated for two years after meeting at the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue release party in Las Vegas in early 2010 – he declined Ellen’s offer to matchmaker, telling her: “I’m cool.”
Anne announced the split in a statement earlier this month, telling fans: “Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best.”
The pair were rumoured to have had a giant bust up in February, although the ‘Moves Like Jagger‘ singer has previously dated Jessica Simpson, Cameron Diaz and Maria Sharapova he vowed to make the relationship work with Anne. That was one vow he couldn’t keep.
