Amanda Seyfried – A name which reminds us of the film version of Mamma Mia and enough ABBA music to put a gay club in Stockholm to shame. Amanda Seyfried is a member of the Perfect Race and ABBA had her in mind when they composed Dancing Queen. Amanda will always be known as “that girl from Mamma Mia”. It is a staggering realization that not many people know her last name and simply refer to her as Amanda.
Jennifer’s Body was the true follow up to Amanda’s success she achieved on Mamma Mia. A few less than stellar films followed, including the overrated Red Riding Hood and boom, Amanda is on the face of every magazine in the world. Her upcoming films include the risky Lovelace where she will portray the infamous porn actress, Linda Lovelace. Post production has begun on the remake of Les Miserables, where Amanda will portray Cosette. She is currently filming Epic, a family animation film where she is voicing one of the lead characters. Pre-production has begun on her 2013 project, Pete and Goat, which is described as a “road trip film” with the immaculate Anton Yelchin as her co-lead.
Amanda started modeling at the age of 11 and starred in the Tina Fey penned hit Mean Girls, in 2004. It was only after Mamma Mia that Amanda achieved worldwide fame. Amanda recently starred in the flop noir-ish drama, Gone, which was ripped apart by critics.
Amanda might not have one of the best method acting careers in history, but this gal sure knows how to crank out an ABBA tune every now and then. We’ll be following her every move. No, we’re not buggy eyed stalkers, but this actress deserves thumbs up in our books. Anyone who can dance with Pierce Brosnan deserves at least a Razzie…
