After 10 weeks, season 14 of Dancing with the Stars is almost over and the final three in the competition are; Katherine Jenkins, Donald Driver and William Levy. Everyone has their bets on who will win, but personally, I think Katherine Jenkins already has her name engraved on the Mirror Ball trophy.
Tonight, the final three will have their chance to impress the judges and America when each couple will compete in two dances. One dance will be chosen by the judges it will be a dance that they have previously performed, but, so it’s not boring, the couple can add new music and new choreography.
Donald and Peta Murgatroyd will be dancing the Argentine Tango, William Levy and Cheryl the Cha Cha Cha and Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas the Paso Doble.
The second dance is ever popular freestyle which will be danced to music that the couple has chosen themselves, this sounds fun – I can’t wait to see what they come up with!
On Tuesday, the season finale will be two full hours! All of the couples that were previously sent home will return to perform some great routines and one former contestant, Gladys Knight, will entertain us with a special musical performance. Two hours is a lot of time to fill, so there will also be American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson who will sing a medley of her songs, Dark Side” and “Stronger.” To add a little more entertainment to the performance, Kym Johnson, Tony Dovolani, Anna Trebunskaya, Tristan MacManus and the Troupe will be dancing.
Now, Monday night is not the only time when the final three’s performances will count for marks. On Tuesday, the couples will perform a new routine in a “24 Hour Challenge” where they will have had 24 hours to pair a dance style of choice to music given to them after Monday night’s show. This dance routine will get a score of up to 30 and will round out the judges’ scores from both nights.
