Dancing With The Stars All-Stars Week 4 Review: Who Will Be Eliminated (POLL)

Dancing With The Stars All-Stars Week 4 Review: Who Will Be Eliminated (POLL)

Last week on DWTS, a shock double elimination sent home Helio Castroneves and professional partner Chelsie Hightower, and Drew Lachey and professional partner Anna Trebunskaya. Last night, all of the celebrities chose a dance style for one of their opponents, as well as getting a dance style chosen by one of their competitors. Paula Abdul appeared as the guest judge on this spectacular episode of the season. The dancers scored excellent points across the board and gave some of the best performances of the All-Stars season. Celeb Dirty Laundry is once again bringing you a DWTS All-Star review, with total scores, random scores and interesting scores included. We also have a poll below, so vote on who you think is going home tonight. Let’s get to it!

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced the Charleston chosen by Sabrina Bryan and Louis Van Amstel. The judges gave Kirstie and Maks excellent critique. Len said they turned “Monday into a fun day” and Carrie Ann thought they “looked stunning”. Unfortunately, the judges never seem to equal their points with their critique. All of the judges gave Kirstie and Maks a score of 7.5. This gave them the lowest score of the night – a measly 30.0 points – and pushed them down into 8th place on the overall leader board with a total score of 86.5, only 2.5 points ahead of the lowest scoring couple of the season, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas.  If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, they would have only scored 22.5 points, their second lowest score of the season.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas danced a Rock & Roll routine chosen because of being the last style on the list.     The judges gave them, once again, great critique. Bruno said that Bristol was “hitting all the steps” and Paula said she did a “good job”. All of the judges gave Bristol and Mark a score of 8, for a total of 32 points, the second lowest score of the night. They are still stuck at the bottom of the overall leader board with 84 points. If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, Bristol and Mark would have scored 24 points, their highest score of the season.

Sabrina Bryan and Louis Van Amstel danced a Disco routine chosen by Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Sabrina and Louis were above average in the total score of the night department, but still received wondrous critique from the four judges. Bruno believed that Sabrina “lost timing twice”, but Carrie Ann disagreed and said “it was great!” Carrie Ann, Len and Bruno gave them 9 points, while Paul Abdul gave them 8.5 points due to “a couple of missteps”. Their total score of 35.5 placed them into the bottom of the dancing pack. They’re third on the overall leader board with 101.0 points. If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, Sabrina and Louis would have scored a near perfect 27 points and it would have been their highest score of the season, but still tied with last week’s dances by Kelly/Val and Melissa/Tony.

Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke danced a Bolero routine chosen by Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy.        Emmitt and Cheryl scored above average, but received great critique from the four judges. Bruno said that “the mood is steamier than August in Louisiana”. Paula called Emmitt a “sexy beast” and Carrie Ann said that “there’s nothing better than watching a big burly man get sexy”. All four judges gave Emmitt and Cheryl 9 points, which gave them an above average total score of 36 points. The dancing couple is still in the middle of the leader board with a total of 99.0 points. If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, Emmitt and Cheryl would have scored a near perfect 27 points, which would have also been their highest score of the season, but still tied with last week’s dances by Kelly/Val and Melissa/Tony.

Giles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd danced a Bollywood routine chosen by Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas.              The frontrunners of the competition once again showed their steel during their difficult dance routine. The judges absolutely loved it, with Bruno referring to the performance as “superstar”. Carrie Ann said it was “beyond believable”. They received perfect 10 out of 10 from every judge except Len, who gave them an almost perfect 9.5. Their amazing total score of the night was 39.5, tied with Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough for the highest score of the night, which still kept them in first place on the leader board with 104.5 points. If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, Giles and Peta would have scored 29.5, the highest score of their season and the highest score of the entire season so far.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani danced a Jitterbug routine chosen by Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff. The third highest score of the night went to Melissa and Tony with great critique by the judges. The dance made Len “very happy” and Paula believed that they “fit together like a hand and glove”. Carrie Ann said they “had a few problems with lifts”. Carrie Ann and Len gave them 9 points, while Paula and Bruno gave them an almost perfect 9.5 points. The third highest score was an astounding 37 points, only 2.5 points behind the highest score of 39.5 by Giles/Peta and Shawn/Derek. Melissa and Tony are still in the first half of the pack with an overall score of 99 points. If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, they would have scored 27.5 points, only 0.5 points ahead of their highest score of the season.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough danced a Mambo routine chosen by Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower. The best couple of the season once again pulled out all of the stops with their Mambo. Carrie Ann said that it was “perfect” and Paula called it her “most favourite dance of the evening”. Bruno, Paula and Carrie Ann gave them a perfect 10 points, while Len gave an almost perfect 9.5 points. They were tied with Giles and Peta for the best scoring performance of the night – 39.5 points. Shawn and Derek are second on the overall leader board, with only 1.5 points behind front runners Giles and Peta. If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, they would have scored 29.5 points, their highest score of the season and the highest score of the entire season so far.

Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff danced a Hip Hop routine chosen by Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani. The below average scoring didn’t agree with the judges’ responses, as most of the judges gave Apolo and Karina some pretty decent critique. Bruno said that they “have the mood” and Paula gave “kudos” to Apolo. Carrie Ann, Paula and Bruno gave them a score of 8.5, while Len handed them an excellent 9 points. Their total score of 34.5 points placed them into the lower part of the pack. Their overall score of the season is 98 points, a staggering 6.5 points behind Giles and Peta. If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, they would have scored 26 points, only 0.5 points ahead of their highest score of the season.

Kelly Monaco and Valentin Chmerkovskiy danced a Contemporary routine chosen by Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke. The final couple of the night also scored the second highest score of the night. Len said they were “fabulous”, Carrie Ann said “it was stunning” and Bruno called it a “great achievement”. Len, Paula and Bruno gave them 9.5 points, while Carrie Ann gave them an excellent 9 points. Their total score of 37.5 pushed them into the top three scorers of the night, only 2 points behind Shawn/Derek and Giles/Peta. Their overall score of the season is 98.5 points, only 0.5 points ahead of Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff. If Paula Abdul’s scoring were to be removed, they would have scored 28 points, only one point ahead of their highest score of 27 points.

There we have it! Who do you think should go home? Who do you think deserves another shot at the competition? We placed our bets on Sabrina Ryan and Louis Van Amstel to go home tonight, but we obviously think Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas should be hitting the road. They have long overstayed their welcome. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and don’t forget to vote in our Celeb Dirty Laundry poll!
