Pam Behan had the wonderful privilege of working for the Kardashians. Might this have been a blessing, or a curse? Pam opens up in her book Malibu Nanny: The True Adventures of the Former Kardashian Nanny and reveals the five years she spent with the Kardashian clan.
Pam describes in the book that when she initially met the Kardashian kids, Kourtney (12) “was a serious child”, Kim (10) was “gorgeous and sweet and friendly”, Khloe (6) was “a pistol full of energy” and Robert (4) was “mostly sweet and precious”. This paints a completely different picture to what the world knows about the famous Kardashian kids.
The book also describes Kris Jenner as a scary boss and Pam talks about an incident where she had to go do grocery shopping for the family, but when she returned Kris looked into the grocery bags and started swearing like a nun who was recently diagnosed with Tourettes, because Pam forgot to buy broccoli. Pam says, “When I got home, Kris, who was in the kitchen, looked at the groceries I had just purchased, and let out a torrent of expletives. ‘$#&%! $#&%! $#&%! I can’t believe you forgot the $#&%ing broccoli! Broccoli was not on the short list she had given me that day, although it was a regular item on the weekly list. I did not know, shame on me, that keeping broccoli stocked in the refrigerator was so critical.”
Momager Kris Jenner is a bit of a fame whore and has shaped her kids into fame like Rolls Royce automobiles, so Pam also says that she’s not surprised that the Kardashians are on television saying, “Kris always seemed to be rubbing elbows with people that were ‘somebody.’ Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Robert spent time with friends whose parents were celebrities or people in the limelight. I believe she was grooming her children for their current celebrity status their entire lives… I do believe that the success they enjoy now is what she always hoped for and wanted for them and for herself.”
We all know Bruce Jenner has had more plastic surgery than a lipstick lesbian (he looks like one), so it wasn’t surprising that Pam wrote, “Bruce told me one time that I was a cross between Farrah Fawcett and Goldie Hawn, which put a big smile on my face. Despite this, the subject of plastic surgery came up one day in an unexpected way. Bruce was looking at me funny. ‘What?’ I asked as he stared at my face. ‘You should probably have a little taken off your nose.’ Huh? I’m nineteen. It had never, ever occurred to me that I might need a nose job… I guess in the land of the beautiful and perfect people, there was always some ‘work’ that could be done.”
The kids allegedly also had quite the night terrors after the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson. Kris was one of her good friends. The children also vacationed together with the two families and as we all know, Kris’ ex-husband was Robert Kardashian, who served as part of the legal team on OJ Simpson’s trial.
We don’t know how anyone could love the Kardashians now, but according to Pam, they weren’t too bad as kids. She says in the book, “I loved those kids, and it was truly hard to leave them. Yes, I was the hired help and I had done the job I had been paid to do. I poured my heart into my job, and I poured my heart into them. I nurtured them. I cared for them. Hopefully, I made a difference in their lives.”
If only Kim Kardashian thought about Pam every time she made a bumbling moronic fool of herself, the Kardashians might be sanctified by the Vatican.
It is possible, but a leopard never changes its’ spots and Kim Kardashian loves the leopard spots on those scarves…
