Halle Berry Rushed To Hospital Emergency

Halle Berry was rushed to hospital by ambulance Tuesday night due to a serious accident that the star suffered on the set of ‘The Hive.‘ Halle was shooting the film when the accident occurred and emergency medical personnel were called to the scene.

According to witnesses at the scene Halle smashed her head on concrete after suffering a serious fall.  The nature and extent of her injuries – or whether they are life threatening – are not known at this time.  Halle is a diabetic and suffering that condition can complicate matters.

Halle was transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in L.A. after 10 p.m. when the injury occurred. Halle recently suffered an anke injury in Spain while on another film shoot.

TMZ reports: Halle Berry was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night after suffering an injury while shooting a movie.

Sources tell TMZ … Halle hit her head on concrete after taking a nasty fall.

According to the photo agency, Halle was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in L.A.  We’re told the injury occurred at around 10 PM.  There was an ambulance on scene, and it appears that’s how Halle was transported.

We hope Halle is okay and we will update this post as news becomes available.

Update: according to TMZ “Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, ‘The Hive.’ She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue production as planned.”
