John Travolta Comes Up With A Defense To One Masseur's Accusation

Unless John Travolta’s arms are Stretch Armstrong long, there’s no way he could have played ping pong with that masseur’s unwilling penis, the actor is saying.

Masseur, John Doe, insisted he had proof that the singing and dancing lovin’ Travolta was “semi-erect” during a massage and touched his scrotum against his will but TMZ reports Travolta wasn’t even in the same state at the time.

TMZ checked flight records and found that Travolta flew to New York the night before John Doe says the dirty went down on January 16 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Travolta’s jet took off from Los Angeles International Airport at 8:21 PM on January 15, 2012 and landed at 3:59 AM the next morning in Westchester County, New York.

Travolta’s people also released photos of the actor at the Greenwich Hotel in New York City on the 16th. In addition, there’s a receipt showing that the actor ate at Mr. Chow’s restaurant that night and left a $100 tip for the $382 meal. Hurrah! He’s vindicated! Travolta’s not only a monogamous heterosexual who just happens to like getting massages from men but he’s also a generous tipper! The world is right again!

Do you still smell something fishy? I try not to be too cynical but this seems funny. Maybe Travolta is innocent this time but what about all the previous times? The Daily Beast posted a great article on his escapades. It noted that the National Enquirer ran a story in 1980 about Travolta’s affair with Paul Barresi, a gay-porn star. According to Barresi, the two met in 1982, after the actor allegedly followed him into the shower room of a Los Angeles health club, and the relationship lasted for two years.

In 2010, author Robert Randolph spoke to The National Enquirer and Star about his upcoming self-published book, You’ll Never Spa in This Town Again, which was eventually released on Feb. 18, 2012. Randolph claimed to have visited Los Angeles’s City Spa since 1995 and witnessed Travolta engaged in various sex acts with men. Randolph also told the magazines that Travolta’s “preference is Middle Eastern” and that he’d check out the spas several times a week.

Then there’s Carrie Fischer’s 2010 interview with The Advocate. She said, “I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know and we don’t care. Look, I’m sorry that he’s uncomfortable with it, and that’s all I can say. It only draws more attention to it when you make that kind of legal fuss. Just leave it be.”

All this could be nothing… just coincidences but it looks SO bad. What do you think? Are these just examples of people picking on Travolta or is he just getting sloppy with his indiscretions? And, if so, does he need to come clean or should we let him live his life the way he and his wife, Kelly Preston, apparently want to live it?
