Katherine Heigl made an appearance on Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live – and it wasn’t just the actress on the late show couch. Katherine’s husband Josh Kelley dashed out on stage with their adorable 3-year-old daughter Naleigh.
While Katherine gushed about her daughter, she also told Jimmy that Naleigh is “very hammy, and she loves applause”. Right – because the audience and bright lights didn’t terrify the poor girl. She sat on her mom’s lap looking like a deer caught in headlights. It was obvious that Katherine was hoping for a little more, fortunately kids aren’t pets and are unpredictable. I don’t know if I’d be quick to bring my daughter out in the spotlight, it seems a little tacky to me – and perhaps cruel.
Josh and Katherine adopted young Naleigh from South Korea, and although the two of them tend to shy away from the media, it wasn’t the case last night. Let’s hope Katherine’s new movie, One for the Money is livelier than her wee daughter. Just kidding Naleigh – you did good, for a 3-year-old.
