Oh poor, poor Katy Perry. The pop singer has declared that she thinks fame is “disgusting”. In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, the singer admitted that although she loves what she does, she is not crazy about the attention that comes along with it.
That’s part in parcel I’m afraid my dear – were you not aware of this?? Katy, 27, tells the magazine that “I’m tired of being famous already” and that fame is a “just a disgusting by-product of what I do”. I’m sure there are a million artists out there who would trade shoes with her in a second. Do you think this admission has anything to do with her recent publicized divorce from Russell Brand? No doubt.
In the article Katy also says she almost landed a small role in the film The Help but her recording schedule didn’t allow it and she was forced to turn it down. Because that wouldn’t have made her more famous or anything.
I say count your lucky stars girl, because nothing lasts forever – especially in Hollywood where your ‘it’ one minute and then a piece of the past the next.
