Kristen Stewart is feeling ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ ambitious. Kristen REALLY wants to reunite onscreen with love, Robert Pattinson and she thinks the film version of Fifty Shades of Grey could be just the vehicle. Surely Twihards would love to see their favorite duo share the big screen again, even if it would be hard to see them portray different characters.
Kristen pondered the idea in a recent interview saying,
“I haven’t read the book yet, so I don’t know, but I’m dying to make another movie with Rob. I think we’re a good team, and whatever it is needs to be so ridiculously ambitious … but I’d love to work with him again.”
It’s true, bringing the characters of Christian and Anastasia to life on the big screen will be ridiculously ambitious, that’s for sure. The story itself is primarily about Christian turning Ana into his love slave and has been dubbed, “mommy porn”. The pull of this couple is intense and palpable and shooting the porn aspect in a way that only gets an R rating will be tricky enough. The actors hired will HAVE to pack major heat and have crazy chemistry.
Do Stewart and Pattinson have the sparks needed to pull off this story? I would have to say definitely not. Christian Grey is a no-nonsense control freak, almost methodical in his approach to everything. Ana is wide eyed and curious about anything he does. I can’t see Pattinson being a convincing Grey and even worse is the thought of Stewart, who often seems like a robot onscreen, in the role of Ana.
