Kittykats, tell me why VH1 is punishing us with another season of La La’s Full Court Life? Can someone tell me, someone, anyone? The show barely made a decent rating last season and was only on because it was following on the heels of La La‘s wedding. This show cannot carry its own; there are not enough interesting people in it.
One episode had her friend running around the bowling alley naked because their team lost the game, so stupid, and that’s the best of it. The rest of it was centered on Carmelo being traded to play in NY and them moving there. Now there is a clip running on TV for the upcoming show where she is asking a woman if she is sleeping with her husband. Well that gave some of us a good laugh. If you have to ask you already know.
I’m going to back track follow with me. Before LaLa got married there were rumor floating around that Carmelo had fathered another child, not with her but with another woman, (Shhhh…). Let’s all skirt around the issue, remember LaLa has a wedding that’s coming up on VH1 that was being televised and we want people to watch it. She got married and they moved to NY.
Now some of the stations started calling her the, “First Lady” of basketball there. She got nervous because I guess she didn’t want the already existing basketball wives to get upset. She did a couple of radio interviews to squash that, but when they asked her about said baby again (this is March 2011), she got coy (the child would have been 11 months then). Still no definite response from her and Carmelo has yet to speak on the subject. She will not go on hard hitting radio stations, because they want definite answers. She used to be in radio so she knows this, very simple – give a straight answer and stop the rumors, easy enough.
