Simon Cowell Bites into Gordon Ramsay Empire

Simon Cowell is well known in the world of television, mostly for his music shows, but he has now decided to take on something new over in Chef Gordon Ramsay’s empire. Simon will by launching his very own competitive cooking show called “Food, Glorious Food!” and it will be looking for the best home-cooked recipes in the UK.

Producers of “Food, Glorious Food!” said that the show is the “biggest ever search for Britain’s best loved recipe,” It’s open to anyone and the winner will receive over $30,000 with their winning recipe being on store shelves of British retailer Marks & Spencer.

The show is a complete rip off of “Recipe to Riches,” which is a Canadian show that looks for Canadians best original recipes in seven different categories. The winner of that show has their product turned into a commercial for President’s Choice and their recipe is sold on Loblaws’s shelves.

The real question is here is why would Simon Cowell ever go up against Gordon Ramsay who is the most famous chef in the world? We all know that Simon has a HUGE ego, but does he really think that his show can beat out a chef that has won 13 Michelin Stars as well as brag about his success with Hell’s Kitchen, The F Word, Ramsay’s Best Restaurant, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, along with the American versions of Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, and MasterChef? Furthermore, Ramsay has a new show airing this summer called, “Hotel Hell”. In the end Ramsay is far too great of an opponent in “food” tv for Simon to even take a bite out of it.
