This week on THE X FACTOR USA we are down to the Finale of Season 2. There are 3 artists left in the competition and tonight we will see the final performance show of the season. On tonight’s shows finalists will have several songs to perform alone and one as a duet with a celeb in front of our judges, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and LA Reid.
On last week’s show the Top 4 finalists sang two songs, one they chose and one they chose with their their mentors. Sadly, super popular boys band Emblem3 did not get enough of America’s votes and they were sent home. Did you see the episode? We did and we recapped it here for you.
On tonight’s show the top 3 finalists – Carly Rose Sonenclar, Fifth Harmony, and Tate Stevens will have one last chance to impress American tonight. We are not sure how many songs the artists will sing alone but competitor Carly Rose teased, that they are performing multiple songs…like more than two each! “I’m real excited. Just making it to the Finals is like I can’t even believe I just said that. There are a lot of songs you have to sing, so it’s a different experience.”
The Top3 will also perform duets tonight. . We have Demi Lovato and Fifth Harmony, country singer Leann Rimes with Carly Rose Sonenclar, and country band Little Big Town teamed with Tate Stevens. Carly, Fifth Harmony and Tate said that they are very excited about their duets.
Tomorrows star studded event will feature performances from One Direction – the global sensation that rose to fame on the U.K. version of “The X Factor” – and world-renowned rapper Pitbull. By the end of the evening Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez will announce which act will be crowned the winner of THE X FACTOR and receive a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music.

After seeing thousands of acts it comes down to the final three battling to win a five million dollar contract. It’s time to face the music in the first part of the Xfactor finale.
First, we head to all the final three hometowns to see their fans cheering for them. The final three sing their favorite songs from the season.
Carly Rose Sonenclar, the little girl with the big voice is up first tonight and she is singing “Feeling Good”.
Judges Comments: LA “The difficult thing for you is you always do a good job and you need to top that and you did it.” Demi “It is so cool to watch someone so young give it your all and you did.” Simon “The first time I heard you sing that song I didn’t’ believe how old you were and you sounded better tonight, I love your competitive spirit.” Britney “I can’t believe how shining your star is”.
Tate Stevens, the easy going country guy is next and he is singing “Anything Goes”.
Judges Comments: Britney “When you do country you are right on.” Demi “I am obsessed with you and you turned that performance into a stadium performance, you will one day put on a stadium performance.” Simon “I love that you are made in America, you are authentic and you haven’t tried to do anything stupid, you have maintained your integrity throughout.” LA “I am really proud of you, you haven’t changed, you were lovable the day we met you and you are lovable tonight”.
Fifth Harmony, a group of girls from all over the country and Simon choose this song because this was the moment he actually saw something special in these girls, “Anything Could Happen”.
Judges Comments: LA “I don’t know what you did Simon, I didn’t think this would work, but it is magical and I am completely shocked. You were the underdogs and now you are the ones to beat”. Britney “This is a fabulous song choice, it is girly and fun”. Demi “I hope America pulls through and votes for you guys, you worked hard”. Simon “You made me so proud tonight, I like being the underdog and I think something special will happen if you win this competition”.
The acts are all going to sing again, but this time for a few surprises.
First up is Carly Rose Sonenclar singing “How I Do Live Without You” with special guest Leann Rimes and Britney thought they were shockingly amazing.
Tate Stevens joins special guest Little Big Town singing “Party In Slow Motion” that LA thought was so much fun and so natural, in fact the new love of his life is country music.
Fifth Harmony is going to performer with a special friend of Simon’s, Demi Lovato and they are singing “Give Your Heart A Break” and she has so much fun and thinks the girls are very easy to work with.
This is Carly Rose Sonenclar’s final performance, she is singing “Hallelujah”.
Judges Comments: LA “That was a really angelic moment, the look was amazing, you didn’t over sing it and you managed to make it to the famous Carly Rose note. Is it a five million dollar performance, it’s not up to me, it’;s up to America”. Demi “Your vocals have impressed me so much, I have enjoyed watching you throughout this competition”. Simon “Loved that song, a beautiful version, you had a good night”. Britney “I think that song alone is worth five million bucks, get your checkbook out Simon”.
The next performance for the night is Tate Stevens and he is singing “Tomorrow”.
Judges Comments: Britney “That was great and I always enjoy what you do”. Demi “I am going to miss you, I think you are so talented”. Simon “You have represented this category so well and I think we are going to hear about your record sales in a year from now, you had a really good night”. LA “You consistently come out here a do it, you owe your family a big congratulations for pushing you out there and we are blessed to have you”.
The final performance for the night is from Fifth Harmony and they are singing “Let It Be”.
Judges Comments: LA “You are guys are like magic happening before our eyes, that was beautiful. You did the song a lot of justice.” Britney “You guys have blossomed as a group”. Demi “I am sad that this is ending tomorrow and I am proud of how much you have grown”. Simon “You are not a group, you are five great singers and on this night, you deserve to win this competition”.
The top three have done all they can, it is up to America, stay tuned tomorrow night to find out who wins the five million dollar recording contract.
