American Idol 2013 Recap 5/1/13 - Top 4 Perform

AMERICAN IDOL returns to FOX with a new episode and tonight each of the remaining 4 idols are back again after last week’s non elimination week.  The theme for this week’s show is “Then and Now,” which means contestants will sing both a standard and a song from 2013.  Did you watch last week’s show? We did and we recapped it here for you!

On last week’s show the four finalists competed for America’s vote and sang two songs.  One song was a  “One Hit Wonders” and the other song from the contestants personal choice.  It was announced at the end of the show that the final four contestants – Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, Kree Harrison and Candice Glover – would all get another shot at performing for America.  America’s votes from last week’s performance show will be combined with votes from tonight’s performance show.

On tonight’s show the theme for the week is “Then and Now,” which means contestants will sing both an oldie and a song from 2013.  After last week reprieve the contestants have an extra week to WOW the judges and the viewers at home, to land a coveted Top 3 spot!

Tomorrow on the live results show the final three remaining female powerhouses will be revealed. Plus, Season 7 winner David Cook will perform his new single, “Laying Me Low.”  Harry Connick will debut his new single “Every Man Should Know,” which also includes a  performance by Will.i.am.

The show airs tonight at 8PM and goes until 10PM EST. It is sure to be an episode you do not want to miss. Make sure to come back tomorrow night for the elimination results to be aired.
