Camilla Parker-Bowles and Prince Charles Furious At Kate Middleton: Royal Baby Prince George Spending More Time With Middletons Than Royals

Perhaps sending a statement that Kate Middleton won’t feel the same pressure that his mother did when she gave birth to him, Prince William has gone against tradition and left with Kate to go spend time with the Middletons at Bucklebury.

Princess Diana wasn’t offered that luxury, and it may be that after seeing what a lifetime of adhering to royal protocol did to his mother, William is deciding that his wife should be given the liberty of doing whatever she wants. In this way, Will and Kate will be spending much more time with the Middletons during Prince George’s first days than with the royals. Obviously, the Queen has already left to Balmoral, but they could just as easily be spending time with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, no? It’s a clear choice that Will and Kate are making, and it’s clear that Will wants Kate and the baby to be as comfortable as possible – and that means taking the baby to his maternal grandparents, who will be able to give Kate and the baby much more comfort and normalcy than Will, Harry, or Diana ever received.

In fact, there’s a very likely chance that Prince George will grow up in a much more casual environment than his dad ever did, especially if he continues spending so much time at the Middleton household. In the end, while that may not make any of the royals that happy, it’s the baby’s happiness that’s paramount. And I’m sure Kate and Will have little George’s best interests at heart before anything else.

What do you guys think? Do you agree that George will probably spend more time with his maternal grandparents than his father or uncle got to? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
