Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Cast Official – Christian Grey and Anastia Steele

"Pacific Rim" Los Angeles Premiere

E.L. James is the woman who’s known for writing Fifty Shades of Grey – a book that’s well known to your mother, sister or any person you know of the female gender. Recently she’s found the two stars that’ll be portraying Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey on the big screen.

Here’s what E.L. James announced “I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, the gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Dakota is known for starring in the cancelled sitcom Ben & Kate, and in movies The Five-Year Engagement and 21 Jump Street remake.

The sad thing is that Charlie Hunnam is going to be starring in this, it’s not that he’s a bad actor; it’s in fact the opposite, he’s far too good of an actor for something like this. Charlie’s starred in movies like the recent Pacific Rim and Green Street Hooligans, he was also on Sons of Anarchy; I seriously don’t see a place for him in Fifty Shades of Grey.

There have been complaints already on the casting of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, many people saying that this isn’t what they imagined or wanted for a Fifty Shades of Grey Movie; remember women, the author of the book herself chose these actors, so you’re going to have to end up trusting her. Since this is her image of what the characters she created look like.

I know Dana Brunetti said in his interview recently that not everyone will be made happy because our own images of these characters rarely match who plays them on screen, BUT this is completely different! Whether it was who we imagined or not, they could’ve at least chosen great actors that had the physical qualities so greatly described of Ana and Christian! I am more disappointed in the choice for Ana because she really looks NOTHING like EL James’s description. Dakota isn’t even that attractive, and she doesn’t even have big eyes. She looks older than her own age too. I am definitely just sticking to the books. I’ve fallen in love with these characters too much to see them tainted by these actors appearances.
